HONAUX4/SNHOND3 Issue

HONAUX4/SNHOND3 Issue
Alright - I swear I am not crazy. I have an 04 non-navi.
I recently bought a HONAUX4 and attempted to install it. I have seen all the installation accessories online, you take out the storage bin below the climate control, find the main radio harness, unplug it, plug in the new one, yada yada yada - you then have an aux input - VERY easy install. Certainly harder than what I do at work on a daily basis.
The only issue is, my head unit harness (and I have verified this, it is the HU harness) is NOT the same style connector as the one that is on the HONAUX4, or the SNHOND3 for that matter. My connector is blue, not white like everyone else's pictures posted online. Also, my connector has 4 more pins and isn't as tall, and is wider instead. I unplugged it, realized the issue, plugged it back in, turned on the car - and I had to put in my radio code. Therefore, it MUST be the right harness - correctly?
Am I really the only one that isn't able to just plug this thing in with a NON-navi car?

Nope, you unplugged the main harness. This is NOT where you plug in the aux unit. Sinc you have an 04, your socket will actually be empty since the 04 didn't have XM and you don't have navi. The plug socket you're looking for is pointing downwards and isn't very far in the cubby. Check out my blog for a picture.

Yeah, it's easier for the 05+ guys because there's a cable in the socket. It's super easy to miss though. Glad you got it though. IMO, an aux/iPod adapter makes any car a million times better. It was my first mod and well worth it.
