Hi guys...liking TSX wagon, aka Accord Euro?
Hi guys,
I used to have Acura TL on the TLzine forum, but since I moved to New Zealand...I just picked up the Accord Euro Wagon 02 model. Bone stock...nothing special, as I am still trying to like the rear look of the wagon itself hahahaha

I think it looks great, but I agree with the others. If I were to get a wagon, it'd be a Subie.
But with the right drop and wheels. I think it'd look great!
This should be in the Photo section though ^_^

Station wagons in the USA scream "Soccer Mom"!!!
Station wagons are big in other parts of the world except USA. We prefer modified station wagons which are so big you can’t park in a standard garage, weight between 4,000-8,000lbs, louder, around 7 to 15 MPG average, extremely expensive to own/drive, guaranteed to kill others in an accident, have a higher tendency to roll over in an accident, and have 4WD or AWD which we will never need or use.
Add 4WD, jack it up 10 inches, and put a gun rack in the back then it would sell in the USA market.

Not diggin' that one. If I were to get a wagon it'd definitely be a Subaru.
I guess I was a little harsh with my first reply. I do understand that wagons are VERY popular around the world. In many ways, I do like them better than most SUVs.

Post some daylight pics if you have them...
Matt -
Always partial to wagons... my first car was a hand me down family wagon ('69 Ford Country Squire - a great party car, plus I got laid a lot with that).

Yeah, I mean no question about the functionality of a wagon is simply amazing. Especially when u just move to a new place with having a baby...wagon is your friend, really. hehehe
But for some reasons, I just don't like the rear look of it.
At first I was thinking of getting a lexus IS wagon, or Altezza Gita what they call it here.
But then, I was picking this accord as I always wanted to have the sedan TSX while I was still in US.
If this thread in the wrong subfolder, maybe mod can move it to photography section. Sorry...

The tailights on Volvo wagons always remind me of tall rabbit ears.
That wagon in the pic looks hot. Though I like the look of the Audi wagons probably the best....

I duno about the lip. That's because when I bought the car the lip is already intact with the car. I want it to put the rest of the body kit, but I guess I'd go for lower it first or change the wheels.
That wheels are 16" but it looks hell of a tiny binie thing cause of the wagon body. :S

As NZ honda don't have the NZDM wagon for the accord euro. All wagon must be imported.

As a matter a fact, there is another guy who has wagon, he has 18", bodykit all around (OEM) and dark blue colour...stands out quite well here in Auckland, NZ.
I would go to that route but the thing is, I am gonna pass this car to my wife as she was requested the wagon style. So I can get the sedan one, just like I always wanted hehehehehe.
BUt we'll see...hopefully donw the road I would love my wagon as much as I like the sedan.

About HP, compare to US maybe the same...as I mentioned that my wagon is 2.4K engine...which I assume same as the TSX right?? about 200hp?
How it drives the car itsef? it's allright...a bit heavier due to the size I think. Suspension of my car in particular is a bit stiff. But to be honest, I forgot how does the TSX feels...it's been a while since I drove one. BUt overall, I am pleased with my "Eurie" (name of my lovely wagon,

man, I'd take one if they'd bring it stateside. I have two big dogs and they have a hard time getting into an SUV. And there's no way the wife and I are gonna get a minivan. no freakin way. If the Mazda6 wagon weren't such a piece of crap, we'd get one.

Yeah man...this wagon is pretty good size. I can imagine having 2 big dogs would be a good thing to have. Compare to SUVs...I'd take any wagon because of the gas consumption. Subaru would be great choice if you wanna go with wagon route. However, knowing your location I don't think u need a 4WD cars (no snow eh) hehehehe.
How bout those Lexus IS wagon, those are pretty rare in the states I remember.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but wanted to add a pic of my TSX Wagon Sports Package to see if you like. Full body kit, 17" mags (same as stock pre-facelift TSX in States), custom grille and extended rear spoiler. This also has partial leather, a premium sound system and the 200hp K24A engine. Added options are the sunroof and VSA.
