HELP!!!! ---- Where is VSS on an '06 TSX w/ no NAVI?
I read this forum every day. You guys and gals are awesome!!! You have inspired me to take on this NO NAVI to NAVI MOD. Bg props to Achca. He's been a ton of help .
But I'm Stuck...................
I'm almost done with a my Navi Mod. I have a '06 TSX with no Navi and I'm installing an '05 Navi. I've got everything almost hooked up and ready to go but I can't connect the VSS wire from the NAVI DVD ROM. Only problem is the two VSS connectors (Circuit E93, ECPM/PCM E26 & C407 Terminals A3, B3, C3 ) that I was able to locate did not have a wire to hook up to. These banks are empty with no wires to patch to. This is because my TSX came with no NAVI.
Short of putting in a new terminal with wire in the empty bank, does anyone else know how I can hook up to VSS on a '06 TSX A/T with NAVI?
Any help would go a long way as I'm almost finished with this mod and I'm stumped!!!!
I'm also working on a detailed of how to do with lot's of pics that I will post as soon as I can figure out this VSS dilema.
Thanks,
WR

The wire does not exist in the non navi TSX. For my aftermarket navi, I had to insert the wire into the blank slot myself. Wasn't hard to do, and you can use some silicon or tape to help make sure the wire stays in. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I almost did it this way but I found an extra connector and I was able to take one of the leads out and put it in ECPM/PCM E26. I'm down to 2 ground wires to connect tomorrow morning. Keep my fingers crossed when so that when I connect the battery back on everything is cool.
Thanks.

Thanks for the picture. This is ECPM/PCM (VSS is in E26). I found this but when I pulled it, as you illustrate int he picture, there was not wire there for me tap into. I figured it out and added another connector.
Thanks for all your help.
I'll post pics and detailed how to when I finish tomorrow. Wish me luck!
