help replacing my clutch & wheel bearing

First post on here fairly new to the acura family, recently bought a used 2008 tsx with a decent amount of milage on it. Very recently my clutch has began to slip. Wondering if any one with a bit more experience knows what a goof after market replacement would be.

Also having issues with my wheel bearing and would like to know any opinions with a replacement on that as well.

Hope someone can help me out.

If you're looking for a cheap clutch that's good quality, I'd use an exedy replacement kit. I've had good luck with mine...and good luck with another TSX that I did the install on.

My personal car has a RSX-S OEM flywheel and exedy RSX-S clutch...which...I think has better clutch feel than the TSX clutch.

I have also installed an Exedy TSX OE replacement into another TSX. It feels nice...like the stock clutch.

If you're looking at OE replacements...the Exedy is the ONLY one that has any hope of working well.

As for the bearing, rockauto sells aisin, NTK, SKF, and Timken to name a few. I think SKF is the factory Acura supplier.

Try rockauto.com for the exedy clutch and aftermarket bearing.

Remember....a RSX-S clutch requires a RSX-S flywheel to work in the TSX if you decide to go that route.

I would buy Honda urea grease and I'd recommend buying a replacement release bearing guide from Honda as well.

The best clutch option is Honda genuine. For sure it is leaps and bounds better than the exedy aftermarket kit when it comes to bearings and clutch disks.

I use bernardiparts.com for Honda stuff.

The best quality clutch option and wheel bearing option is going to definitely be Honda/Acura genuine.

Agree 100% with the post above.
(Except I'm pretty sure Honda OEM bearings are Timken. But Aisin is a great bearing as well. Haven't experienced/dealt with SKF before, personally).
