Help me with a dilemma, 2002 TL w/ nav vs. 2004 TSX

I was thinking about getting a TSX, but someone at work is selling their 2002 TL w/ nav for 21K. What would you guys do in my situation?

First question is .... is it a TL-S?

Luxury, size, and comfort are your priorities ... get the TL (even more so if it is a TL-S).

Handling and ... erm ... handling ... and none of the above ... get the TSX.

By the way ... might wanna just throw in looking at the Accord V6 as well ... most folks here cross shopped all 3 of these ... I know TinkySD and I did There were some KILLER deals on the "old" TL's when the TSX was just coming out ... boy that was temping (the TL-S anyway).

TL interior is out of date... that would be the deal breaker right there (for me anyway - cuz u gotta live with theinterior every day)

Plus it's an automatic (a tranny with lotsa problems apparently)

I was faced with a similar situation about a month back. Only I had to choose between the TSX or either a clearanced 03 CL navi or a 03 CLS (6speed) both new.

In the end, the TSX was all that I needed and wanted. The interior is WAY better on the TSX. You won't regret buying the TSX!

A partly-eaten apple for $0.21 vs. a fresh orange for $0.25?

I'd buy the fresh orange!
