So if i do go to court, and it doesn't work out, i have to pay the ticket fine AND court fee? And even if the court thing works (they find me not-guilty or the cop doesn't show up), I still have to pay court fee?

if it doesn't work out, just ask for deferred adjudication (sp?). you will only have to pay a reduced fine and court fees. Mine was less than the cost of the actual ticket fine, and after i asked the judge to let it off and spoke with the court attorney.

This is what is gonna happen...you're gonna show up and sit down for a while till they call your name. Then once they call it you will are going to talk to the cop that gave you the ticket (unless he doesn't show) and try to talk the ticket down. If he does, you pay the fine and get the points (if applicable) to the reduced charge. If he doesn't you pay the fine and get the points for the charges on the original ticket. The judge will order either one to happen. You will pay if you can and you will go home.
Thats it.

How effective might a doctors note stating that I had visited the office for a digestion problem the weekend before?
I just found out that the court I'm going to only has 5 officers working total...anybody have insight on these smaller courts?
