does anyone know if the headlights have to come out to access the hid bulbs in the housings?

This should be in your owners manual I'd think...don't know off the top of my head though.

IIRC, the manual just tells you to leave the HIDs alone so you won't get electrocuted. However, I'm pretty sure you don't have to remove the headlight to get to the HID bulbs. There should be access from the rear, just like for the high beams.

i checked the owners manual and it says to take it to the dealer. if its like the audi, the whole housing has to be removed. i hope u can take it out like the high beam.
