Ok, quick question:

I know you can use The Accord harness (part #08A31-0E1-010) for the "B" harness (the one that carries signals from the HU to the stock Amp).

Does anyone know what the part # is for the "A" harness adapter?? (this one carries the signal from the stock amp to the speakers, it is wider than the "B" harness).

Discussed before.....the only way to get that harnes is to either purchase the factory wiring harness or rip it out of an old wrecked TSX.

 

yeah, i figured i could get it from the factory, but I was hoping someone could hook me up with the part # so I can try to find it online.

The parts dept is closed for the weekend and I am an impatient bastard.



huck - I am replacing the stock amp and would rather not have to hack into the existing harnesses.

 

I was going to use a 08A31-0E1-010 harness for an audio project (tapping in for AUX 3) but now I'm waiting to see what the Blitzsafe will do for me. Anyway, I haven't tried it yet, but that's the part # I saw online for an AUX hookup, not an amp hookup; it taps between the XM and radio, if I recall correctly, so you need the AUX 3 to switch between XM and your aux-in. I'm too tired to figure out if this is going to do what you want or not, but probably not? Dunno, but I hope this helps at least somewhat...
