Hairline cracks in paint

I got rear ended and there are 3 hairline cracks in the paint. Is it worth stressing about, will it start to grow or peel over time? The other driver didn't want to deal with insurance and paid me cash, should I pocket the money or to be safe just get the whole rear bumper repainted?

Cracks will let water and other gunk inside...at least use touch-up paint to seal it up.

Of course the other driver doesn't want to deal with insurance...he hit you so he's at fault...you could have had your rear bumper repainted at his expense (with labor, it's probably around $800...that's how much my front bumper cost)
