Hmm Rilau, the group buy was specifically for the body kit.....I'm not sure if he's going to do that since you're the only one purchasing it. I think you should email him hondacuraworld@aol.com because you might be able to just send him your information through email and purchase it that way?

There is actually an additional $4 handling charge but I guess that is minor compared to the shipping charge of $82 to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii :P so it comes out to approximately $824-825.

IMO pass on the exhaust, not enough HP for the cost

 

i wrote to hondacura world about ordering to canada.
first, they said they would put a 10% surcharge onto the price (almost eliminating the 10% off originally). then i would have to pay extra UPS charges at my door, along with GST added. also, they will only send in US paint, so i would have to paint over, not even get a nonpainted part.

so all in all, canadians cant do shit with this deal. i was hopin to have a body kit soon too.
does anyone know where to buy kits in canada (other than dealerships who sell for 2200$ ) ?

 

I'm not worried about hp gains, they all pretty much the same.
Who ever buys an exhuast and think they could travel back in time should be shot. Mainly i want how the throttle response feels when downshifting. Then the others like sound, looks, a little weight saving.

 

Well the Eastern Canada folks got smart, they went across the border, picked it up and got it installed on the US side of the border. So no need to declare customs.

 

I talked to Tim today, he said the body kits that have been ordered should be in on Monday, and then they will ship out. Just an update.

 

i could have it shipped to the US and bring it back. i have an address in the US. but even after going thru the trouble of having that done. i dont have the right color. and i really dont want to have a coat of paint over a coat of paint that doesnt need to be there.

Mine came today, but I wasn't home to pick it up, so I have to wait until tomorrow! bummer.

Is this group buy still valid? I am interested too. Is the white in US the same as the one for Canada? And also how does this group buy work? I dun have a US address for them to send it to. Are they in Buffalo, that I can drive and pick it up? And also are their site is hond.com? but it seems like it is not working.

I'm buying a Milano Red TSX this week. Did the skirting you got match the colours up here in Canada? I asked my dealer if he could swap the spoiler out of the Aero kit for fog lights (same price per acura.ca), but he said they couldn't. This sounds like a pretty good deal though.

 

I think excepted the Indgio blue, all other 4 color are the same between US & Canadian model. Maybe we can confirm it before the order. BTW, if the group buy still not going, I may consider to get the jdm kit from poleposition.

that is an interesting idea.. ill have to think about if i want that kit or not.. i wasnt planning on having foglights, and that kit needs them. if you can get me a price on the kit, and on lights, if its good enough i might do it..

I just got reply from poleposition. The jdm kit & jdm fog will be $2250Cdn + gst (shipped to Toronto). Discount will be depends on how many on the group buy. I will ask them can they give 10% off if we can get 5-6 people in like the oem group buy. It is $300 more than oem kit but you get jdm fog too. So it is actually cheaper than oem and looks way better! But the only think that hold me back is the installation of the jdm fog! it looks way more complicated than usdm since it is for RHD but we are LHD. So is there ne1 have installed the jdm fog before and can give us some insight on it?
