Group Buy: OEM Full Body Kit

Hey guys, I spoke with Tim at Hondacuraworld.com and we would need 6 people total for 10% off the body kit.

911.30 - 10% off = $820.17 w/ free shipping.

So far we have.

1) Tin
2) Xizor
3)
4)
5)
6)

We need 4 more people! This is a pretty good deal considering that we don't have to get it painted and free shipping too of course.

Is there any reason why we need 2 active threads about this?

Because no one will look in the Canada East section for a group buy on a body kit? and this is a new group buy.

The other group buy is over, and was aimed at Canadian owners who would drive across the border.

Does the 10% include shipping?

Wow that's a good price. I did well when I paid $600 but that was a special circumstance.

Wow thats really cheap, $600.....dang heh.

Xizor: It's free shipping and no tax outside of NY, so the final price for everything is $820.17.

OEM Body Kit

Before you order the kit mentioned, you may want to check out http://www.weircanyonacuraparts.com/ . The kit is cheaper there. James

I think you need to order 2 side skirts, thus adding another $271 and bringing the grand total to $972. But that is just a guess...

I don't believe so, every site sells side skirts as a pair. They're already more than the front spoiler or rear spoiler, which accounts for there being 2 parts.

I sent an e-mail asking for a quote and availability, hopefully they'll respond. Anyone call?

Here's his reply to my email

one side kit for both sides

front kit is $269.25
side kit is $339.00
rear kit is $268.50

where are we shipping to? this will determine freight charges

>>> Tin Hung <tinhung9@yahoo.com> 04/29/04 07:17AM >>>
Do we have to purchase 2 side spoilers or does 1
quantity of it include 2 of them?

Front Spoiler = $215
Side Spoiler = $271
Rear Spoiler = $215
Shipping = $13.99
Total = 714.99

Would this be the correct total price for everything?
Please let me know!

Thanks,
Tin

So yeah if what he says is true, then it's not cheaper.

Total from that website is: 876.75 + shipping
Compared to Hondacuraworld.com: 820.16 w/ free shipping.

Hmm we still need 2-3 more people? 3 definites and 1 maybe?

1) Tin
2) Xizor
3) TSXGTP (Yeah I'm from NJ(Rutgers University), and you can pick it up from me)

Maybe
4) Hondaloyalist

Still need 2 or 3 more!

I talked to these guys directly at weir canyon acura and for those of you who saw those prices which were super low ($714.99 total), well it was too good to be true. The prices that were posted was their cost and the prices have been corrected already to reflect the correct ones.

They wouldn't honor the prices that were posted.

So I'm in on the group buy from Hondacuraworld.com if you guys are still going through with it.

1) Tin
2) Xizor
3) TSXGTP
4) Dalokster

Maybe
5) Hondaloyalist

Still need 1-2 more!

It's pretty straight forward. All bolt on. If you have a socket set and a helping hand, this should be cake. From what other forumite have said, it takes about 3-4 hours if that.

take a look at the instructions:

OEM Body Kit

What are the logistics of ordering and shipping for a group buy? Is the dealership going to take our order and ship to each of us individually? Just wondering cause I may be interested.
