Sorry to hear that - last week I was driving my MR '06 on a 2-lane road and came across another MR '06 going the other way, driven by an early 30's looking lady. My sunroof was open and I shot an excited "thumbs-up" out of it. I got a big grin.

I'll give thumbs up to all TSXs and all red cars. Saw a red A4 the other day (I think they look great too), tried to get the guy's attention but he was (no offense) really old. Just didn't notice me, or didn't want to... maybe he thought I wanted to race... after all, that's all red car owners want to do!

my encounters are varied:

-theres one family with an ABP in my area that notice my RBP MT and they looked at eachother like "look, there's a young kid driving this car...maybe we're cool" i smiled and said hi
-theres a compteched tsx (color?) in central florida that kicked my ass off a traffic light line so bad i had to laugh at myself for trying. the guy was nice enough to let me see his comptech license frame so i didn't feel so bad. honking and flashing lights ensued. it was actually a heartwarming beating...bittersweet.
-i've been on I-4 and noticed other tsx'ers look over and wave, but my windows are tinted now, so thats tough sometimes. but if i see one i always look who is driving. it's you upper 30 and 40 yr olds that love to see me and wave. makes you feel cooler when a 22 yr old is driving the same car as you. you're welcome. :-)

im so glad i bought a tsx and im glad when other people feel the same way and show it.

I wave at other bikers when I see them. Most wave back, the ones that dont 9 out of 10 times are on a Harley. But I guess if I were afraid MY bike might fall apart, I wouldn't let go eather, lol.

My friend had a 1999 Harley, I have a 1985 Honda Nighthawk 700S. There were two times I had to stop and pick up a piece of his bike (one was part of a bracket that held on the belt shield, the other was the Harley badge from the back of the sissy bar) I thought it was funny...He didn't. Sorry to get of topic, but that always crackes me up.

Don't get too excited. I've waved at numerous amounts of TSX's around my area, and just got confused looks. Figures. This isn't a Subaru forum.

In Vancouver, we don't wave. Either we know each other on the forum, or they give us WEIRD LOOKS. Happened to me many times. They gave me of a somewhat disgusted look on my car, or...I don't know. I don't think my car is that badly modded, sure, its dirty, but not ugly!

Sorry to stay off topic, but yeah, when I rode my CBR 600F2 the only bikers who didn't wave back were (what I took to be) self-righteous Harley riders. Whatever.
