Not too many details to report -- they are sort of all the same

But -- she's an 06 AT non-navi silver/ebony -- 7 miles on her when I signed the papers.

If you really want to know.....

01 May 2006: Purchased a brand new VW Jetta TDI for about $25k
02 May 2006: DSG Transmission DIES
-- they replace the transmission -- yes, i could have had a new car, but thats a whole other story!!
1000 miles later: Front CV shaft busts
1000 miles after that: Electrical systems starts to go haywire
1 mile after that: I call VW and tell them that I am DONE with their crappy brand.

So -- Here I am!! Thats the very brief story -- if you want more, PM me.

Every time I see stories like this, I think back to the place I worked before this one. About five guys jumped on the bandwagon and bought Jettas. Normally, I'd have no problem with that, but they loved to rub everyone's noses in it. It was almost like a high school clique. Unfortunately, I left that job before I got to see how well they all lasted.

Sorry about your troubles, but it's kind of like a relationship. You'd rather know that the girl/guy/car is a jerk right away, rather than wasting quality time!
