For premium engine performance, we will:
• Drain and refill with Acura Genuine Type 2 Coolant.
• Inspect radiator, cap and hoses.
• Check temperature gauge, radiator & fan operation.
• Visually inspect accessory drive belt.
• Visually inspect pump for noise, leakage, looseness & belt condition

I'm sure I'm not the only one to get this free offer. Also, I'm not a car savvy guy so I would like to know if I should actually go for this service. Now please don't flame me and go "it's free, why not?" Well, if you visit the Wash and Wax section, most of the guys there would reject a free car wash. My thoughts are like that. There's no harm in this service right?

No there's no problem with those services. It's something you could easily do yourself, but when it's free, I'd do it too. Just make sure you tell them not to wash your car. Some places do it free "just to be nice".

 

I don't know man. I think this offer is dealership specific. And yes it is actually free with no catch (like combine it with oil change).

 

Drain and refill with Acura Genuine Type 2 Coolant - this is the only actual labor they will be doing. Then they will call you and tell you that you need some work done on something. It is simply a way for them to get you to bring your car in for service so they can charge you for something you don't know about. The drain and refill coolant takes no time at all

 

Looks good to me if you got the time to wait for the service. It's an easy job but coolant is hazardous I wouldn't do it on my driveway. Just insist on all other services they'll offer you.
