"And don't tell me that it's to differentiate the RL. That's bogus, forced differentiation. How do I know? Because when they eventually roll it out beyond the RL, the 'differentiation' excuse will conveniently vaporize."

Boy isn't that the way it always happens when you are flat out forced to compete in the marketplace. Well said.

As for the turbo lag, Honda is an engine company and turbo lag would likely be engineered to a minimum. Plus, there has been talk that Honda will be using direct injection in the next generation of I4 engines, which will give a good boost to bottom end torque. As for the AWD, I would settle for and LSD. AWD would be nice, but I don't see it as being a necessity in the TSX, though if they made it available as an option, I'm sure there would be plenty of buyers.
Yeah, size and the $20k difference in price are pretty good differentiators. No need for enabling technology to be a differentiator. Don't get me started as to why they left out bluetooth from the TSX -- even the Prius and Mini's get bluetooth!

I'd love to see a lagless turbo, and with an i4 turbo, no need for AWD to remove torque steer. But if they went with a 6, AWD would be required to ensure a torque-steer-less experience.
