Good Price or Screwed?

Good Price or Screwed?
Hey all,
I put down a $500 refundable deposit on a '06 Royal Blue Pearl/Ebony 6-speed with nav. The price we agreed on is $28,672 (that includes destination) and sales tax here is 8.15% so that added another $2329 to the price plus another 200 bucks in dock/inspection/dmv charges. Total out the door price is 31,069.10. Keep in mind, I live on the east coast (lower New York state, this is a quote from Acura of Bedford Hills in Westchester county). I feel like I could've done better though...any suggestions?

$28.7k is about 1000 over invoice which isn't great but not terrible either. It's about $100 more pre-TTL than my dealer (Radley Acura in NoVA) agreed on with me for the exact same combination (if you get yours before I get mine, i'm going to come steal it ) However Radley has a pretty high "documentation fee" ($269, seems the standard is more like $100), but they also throw in free wheel locks, splash guards, all-season floor mats, and i got the trunk tray free as well, plus free oil changes and VA inspections for life, all of which is probably worth a couple hundred bucks.
I had another offer from Pohanka for $28000 but I felt my salesman at Radley deserved the $500 tip, he was very pleasant to deal with and went out of his way to get me test driving the car I wanted. Nobody else in the DC area even had a 6MT+nav on their lots, and all of them except Radley tried to get me to come in to drive an AT or a no-nav when I was calling for test drives. The one that Radley had had to be brought in from a secondary lot, was still completely swathed in packaging material -- the outside had shrinkwrap stuff on it and the seats were all covered, the car had 2.0 miles on it and Radley had obviously not even started to prep it, and to top it all off the guy came in after hours on his day off so I could do a second test drive at night just to see how the lights looked.
Put your down payment in a high-interest savings account until you get the car, as you're going to be waiting a while...

If 28.7 Already includes destination. Destination was almost $3oo i think when i bought my 05. So that would make the actual price of the car like 28.4. Which i think isn't too bad of a deal. But i think it could be a couple hundred better though.

Better Price
I went to Heart Acura in Wappingers Falls with my quote from the first dealership and they knocked another 500 off the price...total came to about 30,550 out the door, which includes destination and all weather floormats and the trunk tray. I personally think that's pretty good...now I just gotta get my deposit back from the first dealership.

I just traded in a '05 TL non-Navi for an '06 TSX Auto Navi Alabaster Silver/Ebony. I paid $27,700 for the TSX before T&L. I got $27,900 for the TL (which 12,000 miles earlier I paid $30,100 for). That is in the greater Los Angeles area where TSXs are in plentiful supply and, in this case, the dealer did not have a single 4G TL on his used car lot.
