im looking at putting a hitch on my tsx because i go biking and want to be able to pull a very small trailer for my kayak, i dont want a roof rack because i had a yakima rack but it damaged my roof, and i dont want a trunk mounted bike carrier because i dont want to damage the trunk, bbut im looking for a hitch that will only show the reciever, everything ive found is a massive block of metal that is just too easily seen.

We have one on the 07, and there's nothing hidden about it. From what I've seen available, they all have to attach pretty much the same way, so something revolutionary (and invisible) is unlikely. That said, I totally agree with your sentiments on roof racks and trunk mounted bike carriers (I would never take the chance on damaging the paint or the car, both of which seem inevitable with the use of one or both of those). Although we have a few small trailers (utility, PWC) that necessitate the presence of a hitch, our bike rack is also hitch mounted, so I'd be installing one anyway.

yea it was kinda my fault on the damage to the roof because i ran into a garage with my bike on it, and i had a trunk mounted but it left spots on my trunk that eventually went away
