Good experience with Northeast Acura
Hey guys, I just took delivery of a PWP/AT/Navi from Northeast Acura and I would like to recommend them, and Ron Berinstein specifically, to anyone who may be looking to buy in the Albany, NY/Capital Region.
I was able to get a very reasonable offer: $28,240 with destination charge included as well as locks, all-weather mats, trunk tray and car cover. Total cost of accessories is MSRP $500, or $380 from places like hondacuraworld.com. Doc, registration and other fees were about $120. Altogether, I would say that I got at least $600 off Edmunds.com's TMV and $1000 off MSRP.
I got financing through Honda at 5.5% for 60 months with a pretty good credit score. With a $10.5k down payment, that comes out to be about $3k in interest charges.
I put my deposit down in mid-October and the car came through an inventory swap with another dealer. At the time, the car was still being built, so it came to the dealership straight from Japan with 7 miles on the odo. Total wait time was around 6 weeks.
So, I think made out pretty well. I'd also like to point out that this was my very first car buying experience. Mr. Berinstein was aware of this, yet I didn't feel like I was being pressured at all. Everything was done very professionally and I really have nothing to complain about. There are good dealers out there, and if you're anywhere near the Capital Region or even in NYC, it might be worth your while to talk to Ron at Northeast.

Glad to hear you're happy with them. I bought mine at Feders Acura in Middletown, NY (about 1/2 way between you and NYC) and they were GREAT. Got a great price, trade in was good, no pressure, and it only took them 2 weeks to get the exact car I wanted.
