Okay I guess, but could be better.

A good deal is all about perception. You will buy only when you are convinced the deal offered to you is a good one.

That sounds like an ok good deal to me.

MSRP: $36,100
Spoiler: $650
Mats: $200
Wheelnuts: $70
Trunk Tray: $145
---------------------
Total: $37,165

price they gave you was: $36,400

Discount: of $765

That's not bad, but it's not great.

I would aim for something around $1000 off. But to echo Sauceman, it really depends on your perception. If you really want the car, any discount is gravy.

I managed to dig them a hole for $1900 off MSRP when I bought in early October. I bought early and did a group purchase (two 05's) with one of my friends. I bought ABP. I'm not sure if colour may have anything to do with discounts... PWP is a hot selling colour in the GTA, which may be driving the higher price for you.

Hope that helps!

this includes all the admin fees, gas tax, air tax, freight, etc.

wow... 1900 off MSRP is impressive. essentially, they took a mark-up of $1000 over invoice. that's it.

Ok, to do the straight up comparison. Admin fee and gas taxes probably added another $250 to my cost.

So we're lookin' at $1650 off for me.

So you got around $1000 off then including all those extras... so that's a pretty good deal you got going there.

It maybe be difficult to get it any lower.

In any case, I love the TSX! Maybe I'll see you on the road! honk at the ABP owners, it'll probably be me! haha.
