Good Deal?

Good Deal?
Hello everyone ...
I am now the proud owner of a CG Automatic TSX with Ebony and navigation. I have been studying these forums as well as other sites before attempting to deal with various dealerships in my area. I was finally able to get the car for $27,600 with no other "dealer fees" (even though they tried) except for tax, tag and title fees. Also, Honda was running 2.9% financing on all new Acuras as well.
The dealer also threw in the "Protection Package" which includes a trunk tray, wheel locks and mudflaps. Not sure if this is something most dealers include or not.
I am NOT a great negotiator but with the help of these forums and other sites, it really prepared me.
Wow ... what a great car!
Thanks!
Stuart

Congrats on your new car. My dealer threw in the protection package for free. Some others have paid for it. I think it depends on how your negotiation goes and whether the particular car you bought already had the package or not. If you really hardnosed haggled you might have gotten it for a couple hundred less but, with the protection package, it seems a pretty good deal.

Congratulations! Sounds like you got a good deal, especially with the 2.9% financing. What dealership did you get it from? I'm in the market too for a CG TSX.
Does anyone else know of some dealerships in Southern California that are giving some good deals?
J.Lukja, what is your first name so I can ask Dale to give me the same deal as you?
Ron.

Ron,
It is better to use internet power to shop for the best price with several dealers, and follow up with phone calls. When the dealer gives you a good deal on a particular car, ask him for vin number before you come in and find out "the car is sold."
Last week, Keys Acura negated my car's deal (27600) of an over-phone price agreement when I was ready to get there. I ended up paying 27750 for a cg auto nav with dest and the protection pkg (wheel lock, fender trim, mud guards) at Metro Acura. Paid no other fees, just tax + licence + 50 doc fee, and financed with 4.2% with honda(why 4.2?). The deal was very smooth, pleasant and done in 2 hrs. Look for Tim if you decide to go there!
I also heard good words at Weir Cyn, Thomas, Sierra Acuras' dealer, but price-wise is higher. Avoid Tustin.
Good luck.
