Unhappy Good bye TSX...

Hi guys, i sold my 2005 TSX with the mileage just over 100,000. It was a beautiful car with no problems what so ever. I got a Infiniti 2009 G 37 sedan with 29000 miles on it. At a price of 26,800, fully loaded. I tell ya this thing is a monster. Comparing to the TSX this thing has 328hp. It rated at 18 mpg (city) 26mpg (highway). But the other day when I drove on the freeway to work...one way is 80 miles. I got 30.1 mpg. That's when I drove between 65-68 mph. I love this car because of the mileage and horse power, but as far as comparing to my last TSX..here it is. G 37 does not have the mirror signal lights like the TSX, it does not have ambient lights under neath the pass. and driver's dash board. You can not access the GPS when you are moving along. It is for safety reason, but what about your passenger wants to find out where is the good place to eat..? You have to stop the car and look it up. The map won't show the street names when you are in the federal installation. It only shows when you are on it. I think the Acura GPS is much better. I like the Bose system, they are really loud and pretty good for stock. The seats positions sinchranize with the steering wheel and the side mirrors. One bad thing is that it has what you might call it..the black box. It recording how long the pedal to the metal, or how long the brake is using, or the seat belt been buckled or not. But no sound. In my last TSX it didn't have it. But as far as the price for that excellent condition car...i am ok with it. In the other hand I still like my TSX . I still see this forum from time to time. Acura TSX rocks man!

With the sedan I can haul more passengers or stuff if needed. The 6MT does not get better gas mileage than the 7 speed auto.

A slight difference in gas mileage, (on a car that gets 18/26 -- not very good, frankly), is usually the last thing on someone's mind who wants the sporty driving dynamics of a 6MT. But to each his own. Though, a good friend has the G coupe with the 6MT and I've driven it a lot. Honestly, the 6MT on the Infinitis is not in the same league as the stellar one in the TSX...it's rubbery and not as smooth in engagement...and I can see passing on it.

Best of luck with the new ride!

Good luck with your infiniti. Never had luck with the nissans we owned. Hopefully the infiniti is better.
