I find that the 3/4 in. socket does very well too. Fits perfect.
The wheel torque for alloy wheels should be about 85lbs. Of course no torque wrench is 100% accurate at all ranges. But if you set it for 85lbs/in you should be fine.

a 18mm was a better fit.
and i noticed that the wheel lock nut was much looser then the others. is that normal? or should i torque the lock the same 85lbs?

I didn't see it mentioned here, but you should torque the wheels when the car is off the jacks.

Not only that, but it's best to torque them when they have some load on them. When the car is in the air, you can overtorque them.
