getting new car soon
My father informed me that my TSX will soon be history (within the next 6 months)-whats going on with future TSXs? Are they def adding more power or anything fun like that? I love my TSX but can't keep it and need a new car-any ideas?

we don't keep a car for beyond like 50,000/60,000 miles-im at 40,000 right now; i will have a truck for the winter so hopefully i will be able to keep the TSX for longer and keep the milege down. all the work is getting done to it b/c i want a faster car for the short time i have and then will just part it out when im done with it

no one really answered your original question....
So you're looking for more power, and you may get a car within the next 6 months. I'm thinking the IS350 is a good car to consider.

Like Dan said, they probably won't increase power by much intil 07-08. 06 might get a slight increase in power, but it'll only be like 10 o 15 hp. The RDX is said to be getting a turbo. If the RDX gets one, I don't see why they wouldn't put it in the TSX as well. But that's a couple years from now.

BMW 330? That should be a ton of fun and not break the bank. Though if you have the resources for an M3... hoo-boy, I have dreams of that thing.
Lexus IS350 should be nice and powerful when it comes out as well.
Infiniti G35 is a freakin powerhouse as well.
If speed is your ultimate concern, why don't you go for a smaller 2 door coupe with a boatload of umph?

If I were a daddy's girl looking for maximum speed and "wow, hot" factor, I'd get an M3 convertible. Of course I live in Cali so maybe it's not as practical in NJ. But the hottest woman I've ever seen in real life is still a total milf / arm candy type in a Z8.
If price is a factor, maybe a Nissan Z or BMW Z4?

I love the M3 but need the room of a sedan-there aren't many high powered (400+ hp) sedans out there with exception of the M5 and CTS-V. The Lexus is also a consideration, just because I love the look of it, but have never driven one and the G35 isn't fast enough and drives like a boat. I have driven both an M5 and M3 and they are both unbelievable cars.

new ones aren't that great and the old ones have a tendancy to blow up (known 3 people it happened to); however, i love the SR6 but they are impossible to find

Wait for the Lexus IS, then. I have to think they are going to match up to Infiniti and up their horsepower on the IS and maybe up their interiors. But the price will probably move up to 37k or so for a decently outfitted one.

Will they improve the handling on the IS-one of my friends had one and almost killed herself everytime in the rain and snow. Im lucky that i will have a winter truck so my baby can sit in the garage and not get yucky
