Gas Tank Capacity
My gas empty light comes on when I've gone through about 12 to 13 gallons of gas. but the specs and Acura webpage state the tank's capacity is 17 - which would indicate that there should be at least four gallons/100 miles left in the tank before I need to really refuel. What are the experiences of others? I'm edgy, because I had a car that had an idiot light that came on just when the tank was fully drained................

You can drive for a while with the light on- my navi tells me I have about 60miles left when the light comes on. When the dial actually goes into the red- then you want to start looking for the nearest gast station - about 10miles left.
