just curious about what everyone out there has been paying for their TSX. i absolutely love the car just from test driving it and looking at its awesome design. i have been able to get a quote for $27,000 out-the-door (tax, title, & fees included) for an '04 Acura TSX auto w/ navi system in carbon gray pearl. i know it's a relatively good price, but has anyone been able to do much better out there. i'm in the metro detroit, michigan area, so location has a little to do with price, but how much has y'all been dishin' out?

Just wondering, are you getting it from Acura of Troy?

I got my ABP w/o NAVI from Acura of Troy for a couple hundred under MSRP, with the wheel locks, trunk tray, and mud guards, but that was from last September 03.

At first, I thought you were getting it without the navi, in which I thought, "Hmm a bit expensive, people have been getting it for cheaper." But since you mentioned with the navigation, then it seems reasonable to me.

yea, actually i am getting it from Acura of Troy. i've been negotiating with the salesdude via email and he seems very nice. i will stop in to meet in next week. but yea, i assume $27k with navi is a pretty good price. i've requested quotes to beat it from roseville acura and farmington acura, but they weren't interested in beating that low of a price. i might try to get him to throw in the trunk tray and floor mats when i actually buy the car.

What is the sales tax rate in Michigan? 27K out the door for a Navi? Assuming tax and lic run 2K...they would have to sell the TSX for 25K before tax and lic. Thats impossible...thats way below invoice. Buddy you better double check. I will call this one a big BS.

hehe I know it's so unbelievable if it were me I'd be rather wary to take it least something is "fishy" with the car.....

Michigan sales tax rate is 6%
Cost of car = $ 25,472

sales tax here is 6%. i've been emailing back & forth now with the salesperson and he seems insistent on giving me that price. i changed color options on him, and he didn't seem too concerned about the price. so i don't think he's trying to sell me a "fishy" car, considering he'd hafta have 2 cars of different colors with the same "problem". but, for sure, i will thoroughly check the car out before taking delivery on it. so we'll see. i ain't purchasing until the first week of september. so i'll be sure to let y'all know what happens. either i'm gettin' a run-through from this guy or y'all be jealous u couldn't get one for this price.

I agree with Justin... this sounds really fishy to me. With 6% sales tax, and minus fees, that's definitely something like $25000. If that's with navi, I call too. That would be almost $1000 below invoice.

Be really careful to be sure the salesman isn't pulling a fast one on you. Check the mileage and check the vin. If an offer looks too good... it ALWAYS is.

If it's somehow true... then that's the best frickin' deal I've ever heard!
