Fumoto Valve for TSX - N-Type or not
I am planning on doing my own oil changes, and having used a Fumoto Valve on my WRX, I don't think I can own a car without having one.
Since my TSX is just two weeks old, I have never changed its oil yet. However, from the manual illustrations, it looks like I have to remove the underside cover (just like my WRX).
My question for those who do change their own oil or use a Fumoto Valve:
Do I need to use an N-Type? For those that don't know, the N-Type version of the Fumoto Valve has a nipple so that you can attach a hose to it. This way, you can be sure that when draining the oil it goes where you want it to. I prefer not purchasing the N-Type, but I don't want a mess either.

After doing my first oil change on my TSX, it's pretty cut & dry. You remove a little access panel to get to the oil pan, and remove the drain plug bolt. I didn't spill a drop on the cement, and it went very smoothly. Nothing to worry about at all. You can also reach the oil filter from the RF wheel well. I had my wheels off, as I was rotating the tires then as well, which made it a lot easier... Took like 30 minutes from wheels-up to wheels-down. Not too shabby...
