Fuel Injector Cleanup from Dealer...

Do I really need this? I have been using those fuel cleaner that you stick it into the gas tank regularly...

How many KMs do you have? Those stick into gas tank stuff don't work. Safe your money!!!

The fuel itself is a very effective solvent. Far more effective at washing things than anything else you could put into it legally. Keep in mind, we tend to wash paintbrushes and remove grease with highly refined petroleum spirits, that aren't all that different from the fuel in our cars, minus the additives.

Anything that's stuck in the injector even after being continuously bathed in high-pressure gas is going to require some form of mechanical cleaning to remove.

That said, unless you're driving around without a fuel filter, this should be only a very rare occurrance.

I have got about 48000Km on my car and they already recommended it...

They always recommend it a bit earlier than when it should be recommended.

Yeah..at the dealership there is a TOOL to clean injectors so that's why the pour into gas tank stuff does not work!!!
