Hey guys,

Well, I have to put my front license plate back on the TSX ): I've been getting hassled by the coppers, so it's got to go back on Anyway's, I don't still have the bolts for the license plate holder, but I do still have holder. What kind of bolts do I need to fasten it to the clips that hang under the bumper? Also, it's only 2 bolts, right? I haven't looked yet, I just figured I'd come on here and ask.

2 bolts but im not sure what the name of the bolts are..... maybe license plate bolts?

They're M6x1.0, with a special shoulder and washer head. You can probably get by with regular bolts, but they'll at least need large washers or else the heads will pull through the bracket over time.

The clips under the bumper that hold the oem black plastic plate holder are 10mm. Those are spaced too far apart to bolt your tag to them. And unless you cut or bend the tag it wont fit in that location. You will have to make or buy a tag holder.

when I needed to put the front license plate on my car-the service department put the license plate holder on my car for free-I asked them if they could when I brought it there for service-no problem. They also put my license plate back on.
