French or French Canadian?

I was reading through the manual (a highly suggested practice) and saw the voice command language choices. I wanted to try the French in my car, but I'm afraid my french isn't up to par to get into the menu and change it back. I really just want to hear it to see if it's actually French or if it's just french canadian. I figure since it's sold it Canada it may be either. Anyone tried it out?

I have a Canadian 2005 Navi and the french is...neutral french. Does not have the annoying France french accent and does not let out a "Tabarna$" when you miss a turn.

Try it, it's fun, although I must admit I usually use it in English

omg, that would be fricken awesome! As long as it was GOOD poutine. But just my luck, it'd just tell me to go East and keep going for a few thousand km.

I wish I could use the French without having to set the Navi in the Communist metric system measurements. I want my saucy French girl AND my distance in miles. Oh well, I guess you can't seperate the Commies from the French.

Bwahahaha @ this thread. The female voice + Poutine directions + the swearing when you take a wrong turn = Me tading in my own TSX for that version right away.

I'd take wrong turns just to see the looks my passengers would have! Straight out of Elvis Gratton.
