Forbes Sedan Picks - No TSX???

I just breezed over the Forbes Best Picks in Sedans and saw no mention of the TSX?

How can every other media outlet rave about the TSX and yet Forbes picks a 325I and a IS300 as "honorable mention"?

This list has ZERO credibility. They listed the A4 as a luxury sedan. They listed the S4 as a luxury sedan. They chose the XJR as runner-up in the performance sedan category. They split up the Lan-Evo and WRX STi. The people who compiled this list need to get their criteria straight before they start giving out honors. I can't stand it when people who don't know cars try to pretend to be automotive writers. The results are usually a total joke.

well it's under the category luxury sedan under 40k they have a category for luxury sedan under 50k, the evo and Sti are split up b/c the prices are different, the evo is under 30k, while the Sti is above it

while i reserve comment on the list, learn to read before bitching about it.

I've subscribed to Forbes magazine for about 20 years, and I look to them for advice about cars about as often as I refer to Road & Track and Car and Driver for investment ideas.

I don't care if one costs 29K and the other 31K, it makes zero sense to split those two cars up. The only cars each competes against are eachother.

Gilbo, your first post makes sense, it really does. But your second post was just more dribble than I can handle anymore. I'm glad you edited it, its the best idea you've ever had

I can read, troll. The problem I have with the list is the somewhat foolish separation of cars that are obvious competitors with each other. The Evo and STi are designed to compete against each other and with only a $2k spread on price. Typically, the marks for pricing are set at $35k and $45k as opposed to $30k and $40k. If the magazine had done their research, they would have discovered this. Most entry-luxury sedans price themselves around $30k and by putting the split there, the magazine has placed the split right in the middle of the category.

So next time, before you mouth off, have a better argument than "learn to read".
