Fog light cracked
Damn! I had my car for exactly 11 days and I come out to wash and my driver side fog light is cracked. I'm thinking it was a rick or something. that sucks. Does anyone know if this is covered by warranty? I'm thinking not but you never know. What you guys think?

Mine were not replaced by the dealer but I purchased plastic film from Lamin-x and put their film on top of the cracked lenses. It has passed inspection once and I don't anticipate any issues AND I have the yellow foglights that I wanted

this has been asked before, but it seems like TSX fog lights (06 +) crack easily.
i never had that problem after a year, not saying i drive cautiously and others drive like maniac.... i think in general those lenses are fragile.
i have a-spec lip on, maybe that protects the fog light assembly a bit? (although it doesn't "cover" the lense at all). anyone w/ a-spec kit experience the crack?

If you use the film, you have 2 choices... don't use the fogs b/c it burns the film or use the fogs with the film and deal with having to replace it every few months. What some folks started to do was turn them off if stopped and back on if moving. I've actually seen my film smoke a little. I've been running with the film off for almost a year now. Luckily, no cracks.

Damn those Rick's always cracking peoples fog. I'll beat Rick's ass next time I see him O.K.
J/K Just tell them you don't know what happened and if they can fix it under warranty. Don't make a big deal about it unless they tell you no.

i have HID fogs on, and when it's on for a while, it's crazy hot. (HID not supposed to be higher at temp compared to halogen, but still so hot)

Well I just got back from the dealer and they replaced it under good will. I'll think about the film or maybe just take the chance. I actually think it was the heat and temp change that did it. Its been raining off an on here lately. I think I'll drive with them off and turn them on only if needed.
