A "fleet" vehicle?

I've been looking for a used TSX and have been checking some of their CarFax. One of the ones I am interested in says "Listed as a fleet vehicle" in the CarFax report, does anyone know what that means? thanks

that means a company bought a bulk of them for business use. Sometimes good sometimes not...Good is that they don't get driven much and are cared for nicely because they usually pick up clients in them. Bad because its a company car and the drivers probably won't give a damn how hard they drive it.

Oh ok. Well it's a 2004 with almost 26,000 miles so it doesn't seem too bad...right?

Agreed. I know how I've driven every American-made POS I've ever rented. I'd NEVER buy a fleet or rental vehicle.

im going to assume it gets driven about as roughly as the loaner cars do. i mean if it is used as a company car, the company is paying for the gas, so it could be even worse.

i know the loaner i last drove had about 8500 miles on it (a 2005 model). and well it was filthy (i was in a hurry so i didnt let acura wash it), there were dings in it, and it felt like things had really loosened up in it as there were a few rattles compared to my 05 tsx. i think the cd player had been damaged too.

people dont take care of stuff like that, that isnt their property, have you ever seen those off lease laptops companies sell on ebay that look like they've been through a war?
