Flat Tire From a New Development

Hi All --

I wasn't too sure where to post this but here's the scoop.
So I recently moved into a new development. There's a ton of construction still going on around my street and I've hit a flat tire on my TSX and then on my TL. So I know the flat tires have been caused by the new construction zone. Here's my question: Who's responsible for the damage?? Should the developer pay for some of the charges since the workers aren't cleaning up their area? Or am I pretty much screwed?

P.S. I live in Toronto, Ontario.

Thanks!

i dont know where you live but two flat tire fix's around where i live cost's less than 20 dollars, and that's NYC.

That said i would avoid the headache of telling them to cough up dough now, but still mention it to the head engineer responsible for the development that you will hold them liable for any further damages caused by their careless clean-up's.

Get it fixed..

1) no you can't hold the developer responsible

2) its extremely petty and just flat outragoues to try and hold a developer responsible for a nail puncturing your tire. Unless it was blatant negigence, like boxes full of nails just strewn about, attempting to hold the developer responsible for this is petty.

I picked up a nail on my way to work, can I hold the city responsible for not keeping the roads clean? No...

Shit happens bro, pay the 10 bucks and fix it.

Thanks for the opinions guys.

Kinda wish I posted this before I picked up the new tires. But then again I needed new tires since the olds ones were worn down to about 20% tread.
