Fitch fuel Catalyst

Can anyone tell me if they have a Fitch fuel castalyst installed. I have a 2007 TSX and would like to know where the best place for it is and if it works at all.

I can't find a single claim as to how these things supposedly function (vague descriptions of making gas 'fresher' don't suffice as an explanation). Smells of snake oil to me.

Not possible. There is no magic way to add octane by a catalyst. The only way to improve the octane of the fuel you purchase from a gas station is to add something that has a higher octane than the fuel to your tank.

Not technically correct. A reducing catalyst (opposite of oxidizing) catalyst could stick hydrocarbon chains that have been broken by oxidization back together by knocking out the oxygen molecule and sticking a couple carbons back in there. I'm pretty sure that would be a reaction that requires a significant amount of heat to happen (endothermic), kind of like what you find in a refinery. I highly doubt the reaction is going to happen at an appreciable rate at room temperature.

I prefer all the heating and compressing of my gas to happen in the combustion chamber rather than in the tank.
