First time with HIDs...is this normal?
So, this is my first time with HIDs and I know about the sharp cut-off as far as where the light shines and doesn't shine, but take a look at my pics below...this is the view from the driver's seat:
Less than 5 yards from wall:
About 15 yards from wall:
About 30 yards from wall:
Frontal view (doubt it shows you anything worthwhile...):
Notice how the light's line drops from the passenger side to the driver side? Is this normal on the TSX? Also, don't the lights seem to be aimed pretty low? Maybe it's just me...
Also, yesterday I went for a drive and encountered a very steep hill...the result? I could only see what was directly in front of the car (within a few feet). Of course I could've turned on the Hi-beams to see more, but it doesn't seem like the HIDs should only be good for a few feet on a hill.
This is an '04 that I bought used last week...think that the previous owner may have had the lights re-aimed? Or do I just need to get used to HIDs?
Thanks for the comments.

Thanks...maybe the driver's side has that drop-off because you don't want to blind the car in front of you? I just always assumed the light line with be consistent...

Well, I suppose if it was done on purpose, it can stay...but I still don't like it!

Do a search and you'll find out that that's the norm. Also, after a while you'll not only get used to them but will really become spoiled as to how poor other lighting systems truly are especially in the rain and 180 degree lighting.

i noticed since i switched to the aspecs and have ppl in my car, my HIDs appear to blind ppl. i've been highbeamed a few times and also i noticed ppl in my lane tend to switch out when i close in on them from a distance.
i wish the car had at least manual leveling like the mazda3's
