First Road Trip Impressions on 05 TSX

Well we took our new to us TSX 05 AT with navi to VA from SC. There were many mountains to climb and lots of traffic we drove between 75-80 the whole way and got 30mpg. I was impressed with this as we did a lot of mountain driving. The car did a marvelous job at shifting when going up a big hill, you hardly noticed it at all. I never flet it was under powered on the highway and on the curvey roads in the mountains I left everyone behind!!! the seats are comfortable and I am 6"2 and 220lbs, coming back my leg begin to hurt and I couldn't seem to find a good position utill I raised the seat up and then it was fine. I could have gotten the 06 v6 Accord for the same price but with out Navi, I'm glad I got Navi as this adds to the joy on a road trip and I really didn't notice the power difference. I traded in a 1996 v6 Camry and this car kills it. The trunk space was better than I thought it would be, it must have been deeper than the camry. The back seats are ok and for short trips its just fine. The road noise is a little high but not bad, stereo is good but not great. Over all
we love it and hope to put on at least 200,000 miles

The TSX really is a fantastic road trip car. I did several road trips between VA and MA this last year and the drive was always fun in my 04 5AT. The mileage is amazing when you consider the speeds.

All reasons why I got another one instead of another make and model.
