First Road Trip!

Hello all, I thought I would give some impressions on my first road trip in my 2005 TSX 6spd Navi. I bought the car in January, but this weekend I finally got her out for a road trip. We went up to Atlanta (Duluth actually) for my nephew's first birthday party. My wife really wanted to take our English Springer Spaniel to play with my sister-in-laws new puppy (they have a 10 week old choclate lab). I found a Pet Hammock on Ebay for about $30. It is a nylon cover that goes from the rear headrests to the front headrest so the dog stays in the back and off the leather. It worked out pretty good and is easy to but in and take out of the car. The Navi said it was 498 miles and would take 8:03. We made really good time going up until we got to Atlanta. Traffic was at a stand still so I switched to the Atlanta XM channel for traffic information. Sure enough, a big rig was blocking 3 lanes so I asked the Navi system for a detour. It took me on back roads to the next interstate over, worked out awsome! I enjoyed driving around the area the next day, it is hilly and the roads are curvy, much more fun then FL. On the way home it rained 90% of the way, mostly hard. The car performed great, it always felt stable. I was passed and then followed a 2004 PWP TSX for about 100 miles in FL. It turned out to be a girl that wouldn't get off the phone or venture from the left lane, she just tailgated whom ever was in front of her, very rude. I drove between 80 and 85 on the interstate. Anyway, I enjoyed the car very much, here is what my trip computer said when I got home.
Trip 1025miles
Time 15:15
Fuel 29.6 mpg (outstanding)
Avg Speed 67.2
Sorry it turned out to be such a long post.

Good review. Check out my review from my 900 miles a few weeks ago. Note the information that I posted and perhaps include that info. (Lemme know what it is and I'll update your original post).

Sorry it turned out to be such a long post.

You'll see those mileage numbers improve as the engine breaks in over the first 10K miles.

I think that the mileage now is good. Especially when premium is only $2.01 (I find it funny that I am saying that). I spend less filling it up and drive further then my last vehical so I am happy. More mileage will be a bonus.
By the way the Temp on the trip ranged from 50s to low 70s, most of the time in the 60s. I would say that 95% of the time I was on interstate doing about 80 MPH. Another thing I noticed was MDXs are a dime a dozen up there in Duluth.
