Farewell Pictures

17 months and 17K miles of rock-solid trouble-free miles. I really enjoyed my TSX and it was hard to see it go when Mr. used car manager drove it away to the used car lot. Sadly, I didn't ensure it a good new home. Instead, I traded it away for much less than what it was worth. It's a lot like dropping off a devoted pet at the pound. The horror. I know you all want to cry right now but please compose yourselves. heheh

Here are some final parting shots. My TSX was in perfect condition when I turned it into the dealership. Looks almost as good as it did when I first drove it away from the Acura dealership two summers ago.

On the bright side, I took delivery of my new ride on wednesday. It was my dealer's first one and it arrived as a late xmas present to myself. Some pics...

Great choice! Lots of luck with it.
Funny thing is, I went to the other way; from an Audi TT roadster to our new TSX.
The TT didn't accomodate our new son very well.

This is the second blue 6MT that someone traded in during the past week that someone on the board may have been interested in. I think some folks are missing some better selling opportunities.

yeah, I think I'm getting custom fit 19" HRE's in carbon with polished lips. Not sure which style yet though but most likely a thin 5-spoke design to save the most weight. I also like the 2-piece 19" AMG rims that the FIA used on the SLK55 F1 Safety car, and MB puts on the SL65/CL65 but those may be too heavy. But you're absolutely right, the brakes look beautiful and need to be shown off

Boston huh? In that case, you can borrow my S4 because I let my sister borrow it for the spring semester. She's a student at BU. I don't think she'll let you though, she loves that car and doesn't talk to strangers

I admit, the "Airscarf" especially with the ridiculous name they gave the feature seems like a rather fruity option. I just ordered it because my dealer said it was a cheap option that would only help resale value since it was a "first-of-its-kind" technology. But after trying it out, I'm glad I got it. Seriously, it works, and works very well. Combined with the car's excellent air-flow management around the cockpit to minimize turbulence to the passenger at highway speeds, the airscarf completes the equation by keeping the head and upper body warm making all-year topless driving a reality. It was about 35 degrees 3 nights ago in Chicago and I drove with the top down and airscarf on full blast on the highway at speeds in excess of 80 mph. No problem. Incredible. Innovation at its best. I probably looked like a total tool blasting down the freeway in the middle of winter with the top down but it was just to test it out. It works so well that I would guess it can get as low as just below freezing at highway speeds before it gets uncomfortably chilly and the top really has to come back up. In the end, girls love it. It was only a $350 option. Girls love it. If you think girls liked heated seats, I wish you could all witness their reaction to having a headrest that blows warm sweet nothings around their ears and neck. Enuf said

JUMPIN JUPITER'S WITNESSES BATMAN! WHAT A SUPRISE..

here i was reading about what you did thinking you traded up to like a 35k car, then you drop that. TSX is good, but the SLK55 AMG is my new realistic dream roadster. I envy you, very nice trade!

edit; it was masmole! i didn't care to see the user name. You know, I actually want to attend UIC's GPPA program of Dentistry .
