I am a newbie on this forum. Recently I spoke to a dealer in Chicago and he quoted me the following price. Since the price of 2005 is not yet known, he gave me a quote with the discount he can offer. Please share your thoughts about this price.

try to get invoice if you're getting an '04, if you're getting an '05 1500 under MSRP sounds ok

 

That is exactly the deal I got at Acura of the Desert near Palm Springs, CA. I had to pay a premium (I think $495) for the ridiculous "protection package" (all the dealer installed crap you listed). I feel I got a good deal because the Acura dealers in San Diego won't budge below MSRP less $750 plus protection package because they can't keep them on the lots.
