After three failed attempts by my dealer to correct the infamous winter dashboard creak, I decided to telephone Acura Client Services to see if they could help.

They stated that they do not think that the problem is widespread. They also have no information in their technical bulletin database regarding the issue.

Please call them to report the problem if you have it. They are very polite, courteous, and prompt. It will not take you much time at all. I think that it would help Acura to realize that there is indeed a widespread problem. Perhaps then they will fix it.

Just got my silver TSX 5AT 3 weeks ago (live in NY) and started hearing dashboard creaking after 1st week (definitely worse on cold early am's). I took your advise and called the Acura Customer Service number and voiced my complaints about the dash creaks. I have an appointment to have it evaluated on 3/3/04. I am leaving it there over night so they can test it when it is most apparent. Have you had any success in resolving problem?

is this rattling due to the music turned up or just crackling while driving, hitting bumps?

I was wondering the same thing, I get some rattles in the passanger side door when i have the stereo really loud and the bass is up only..
