engine air filter confusion

I'm totally lost with the engine air filter. I'm trying to find a filter for my '06 tsx. On ebay, sellers are listing honda part number: 17220-RAA-A00 for 04-05 tsx's. They're also listing honda part number 17220-RBB-A00 as the 06-08 tsx air filter. I thought that the 03-07 accord air filter would work just fine in my '06 tsx, so I bought honda part number: 17220-RAA-A01. But I can't find anywhere that confirms this part number will work in my 06 tsx. In fact, 17220-RAA-A01/A00 seem to be identical. Did I buy the wrong filter? Ebay sellers are suggesting that the 03-07 air filters only work in the 04-05 tsx!

Well, don't know about the Ebay or Honda guys, but I use Fleetfilter.com to order both my engine and cabin filters (I also have a 2006):
and
Note on the engine filter page it says:
Principal Application: Acura TSX (04-08), Honda Accord w/ 2.4L (03-07)
If that helps you.

Sometimes the part numbers vary but they are exact matches so you are probably fine. If you already bought it then just wait and see how it measures up. More than likely you'll be fine. Multiple cars use the same part within the Honda family and just have mark up prices for the different parts, filters are a prime example.

It fits perfectly in the air box, but the paper ribs of the filter are a bit shorter than the filter that came out of the box. I doubt this matters.
