Were you one of those drama-guys in high school? Did you have the lead role in the school play and sing like a fruit in the halls with all of your other theater friends? You are a little over-dramatic.

I am not sure where in the term "fired-upon" you thought I established any level of intensity, but you took it to dramatic heights that only you could achieve. He was taking a stab at me and I am not the only one that thought so. There was at least one bucket of popcorn out there waiting for my reply!

And since you seem to care so much for reliability, what was the reliability rating and crash test results on your TSX when you bought it? Oh, that's right, that information isn't out yet. How on earth did you buy a vehicle without seeing those #'s 1st? Maybe it's because it doesn't really matter to you. Me neither.
In one of your posts you claimed you back up everything you say. The above passage contains two false statements which you cannot back up:

1. I don't own a TSX.

2. Reliability really, really matters to me.

Two thumbs up, with a PG-13 rating for language and unreliable cars.

Gotta disagree with you a little bit, J.
I say if he was just even good enough to make the team, that's pretty cool.

But he did suck on here.

It doesn't matter how good he SAY he was...the fact of the matter is he was not good enough...even at his best...and judging by his lack of respect for the people in this forum...frankly I don't give a shit even if he was A-Rod himself.

Who the hell does he think he is talking to around here.

And Larch how about those knicks.

OK, well if you want to lump everything under a 3-Series title, go right ahead, but I am not sure too many people here give a rats ass about wagons. I tend to think that the 330i with the Performance Package and a stripped 325 wagon are two different animals, but then again, I know something about the topic.
And as far as backing up what I say, that means I research the important information to back up my claims, facts and figures. The key word is "important". You do not fall under that category.
So you don't have a TSX, you obviously don't like BMW's, so why don't you tell me what you drive so I can give you my opinion about your ride and dig up an article that says it isn't perfect? And please specify if the vehicle is actually in your name or your parents. Thanks.

LOL! Coming from you? Mr. captain of the debate team? Mr. I grew up to be an internet forum Moderator?

I have been to your town, played Pepperdine, USC & UCLA. Didn't see your name in lights anywhere either... I will be sure to let Minneapolis know that it is now officially a "no-where" town becasue Justin said so.

No, I obviously wasn't good enough to make it to the Pro's. I turned down the bus ticket to minor league hell, got a job and started a business on the side. However, I would rather look like me and have to work for a living than look like Nomar and get paid millions to play baseball.

You will get to see me soon justinjsw, I have an article/shoot coming out in a June issue of a magazine I am sure you have never read because it's about fitness. I'll be sure to send it to you...

Yeah, it's funny how much better a guy looks to a girl when they earn a few million a year... Luckily for them, there are enough pretty shallow women out there to serve them all... I mean come on, even Patrick Ewing and Willie McGee had groupies!

Good for you. I know some things about the above topics, too.

For example, I know the 330xi came in last in a C&D comparo against the previous generation S4 and the WRX. (The S4 came in first, BTW.)

And as far as backing up what I say, that means I research the important information to back up my claims, facts and figures. The key word is "important". You do not fall under that category.
I noticed. You offered to mail a copy of the magazine to justinjsw; I was not important enough to be on your mailing list.

All I know is this: I am not driving an overpriced, unreliable, it-could-burn-or-break-down-any-minute vehicle.

Part of my point is that Edmunds also considers the 3-series wagons to be part of the 3-series.
And the 3-Series won the Editors Choice Award for 2004. However, they had a special category for wagons in which the 3-Series lost to the Audi wagon (as it should) proving that your theory of lumping all 3-Series together is WRONG!

For example, I know the 330xi came in last in a C&D comparo against the previous generation S4 and the WRX. (The S4 came in first, BTW.)
Is this the same 3-Series that is on their Top 10 list for 2004? I see the S4 on there (which it deserves) but I don't seem to see this awesome WRX on there? Why? Because despite it's #'s on paper, you still have to look at the thing and sit in it's embarassing interior. It is an ugly piece of plastic for thrill seeking teens who don't have any taste. It's like buying an Pontiac Aztec because it put up better #'s than the Lexus RX330.

All I know is this: I am not driving an overpriced, unreliable, it-could-burn-or-break-down-any-minute vehicle.
You are just too embarrassed to tell us what it is... You see BMW's as overpriced, unreliable, it-could-burn-or-break-down-any-minute vehicles. The auto industry (professionals) see them as the Ultimate Driving Machine, the "benchmark" in which all other vehicles are compared. A C&D 10 Best finisher for as long as one can remember even though it is competing against newly designed 2004 vehicles in it's 5th year without a redesign or upgrade. In other words, BMW is just that far ahead.

You and I just went through a game of association. I said

"overpriced, unreliable, it-could-burn-or-break-down-any-minute"

without mentioning any car brands, and the word that apparently popped up in your mind was

"BMW".

Folks, I think I'll ease out of this thread. It's been fun. But I just lost my third set of hook, line and sinker (yup, lost three in one thread) and have to go back and get more gear.

After 6 months and 500 posts, you should already have the "real deal" verdict, Butt-Daddy.

Then again, you've probably spent 490 of those beating your Bimmer chest. And picking fights with us lowly TSXers.

The chummy tone is my favorite part of this forum. You seem single-mindely dedicated to messing that up. I (and lots of others I bet) am sick of it.

We love our car. You love yours. Great—you're entitled to your opinion.

But if you can't play nice, please be a real pal and kindly go fuck off.

Jack-Off, why don't you go read back through this thread and tell me where I am dissing the TSX? Next time, don't judge someone or something after reading 1-2 comments. Larch is on this board more than anyone and he knows what is up. The fact that I am Pro-BMW does not mean I am Anti-Acura. Look at my vehicle list below and you will see that I have owned Honda's and Acura's in the past and I am sure I will again in the future. What I can offer you is what I have learned from owning both and it is far from the ignorant one-sided stereotypes that you all have locked inside your thick heads.

Buffy:
I apologize. I should have made the sentences shorter.

I never said you dissed Acuras.

And I read every post in the thread, friend. I’ve also read LOTS of your other posts. I’m pointing out an overall trend, not just this thread you condescending putz.

I didn’t judge you. I made an observation…and a request. I said nothing negative about you, BMWs, BMW owners, or even Chris Bangle.

My point was everyone in here gets along. But you try to fuck that up that for your own entertainment.

A lot of your posts drip with sarcasm, taunts, and personal attacks.

You say you’re here to see if the TSX is the real deal. Well is it?

If so, great—hope your sister gets one and enjoys it. If not, fine, we heard you. Either way, why are you STILL here? You obviously dig riling up people.

You don’t “offer” your Honda and Acura knowledge. You give the same opinion—“BMW: great. Everything else: eh.”—over and over and over.

And you’re right—Larch does know what’s up. That’s why he called you on it …
B-D, I've gotten a lot from many of your posts although not others. But I gotta tell you, what you said to DNB was an all-time low for you.

Please show me where I used any “ignorant one-sided stereotypes”.

Hell, instead of a status-hungry turd, you might be a granola-crunching, Nader-voting, Earth First member. I don’t know. I don’t care. I just want you to not be an ass when giving whatever your opinion is.

BTW, I’m no fanboy. I like BMWs too. Some of my best friends are BMW driversm. The former plane-maker just wasn’t my choice this go-round. But I don’t hover on the BMW forums saying that repeatedly.

Have a swell day.

And please stop pretending as though you are speaking for the rest of the forum members, I don't recall anyone electing you ACURA-TSX.COM "spoksperson". I don't agree with everything that everyone says on this board, but I get along with most people. I will defend BMW just like you defend Acura and if you cannot see that those 2 things are the same, God help you...

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome! "She's" treating me just fine. I had some issues with my window tint scratching but got it solved by a tinter that placed felt strips on the interior door liner. I have to take her in for a faulty trunk release switch but no biggy.

So far, no rattles and she's a joy to drive. It's amazing how dependent I have become on the radar-based parking assist!

One thing that amazes me is how well it handles in the crappy weather we have had in NY. My CL-S never handled anywhere near the 9-3 does. It could also be 'cause I threw on some good Conti Extremes! (Never liked Michy's Pilot MXM's)

Hmmmm.......

Also, I have seen a couple of the TL threads here. I gotta tell you, everytime I see one (live or in pics) my heart goes pitty patter.

Enjoy!
