Has any one tried the new NGK ICE Iridium spark plugs?

Here is what the guy posted on eBay.

Thank you for checking out the revolutionary, Performance Enhanced ICESparks™ Premium Iridium spark plugs by ICE Inc. By using a proprietary high-tech, aerospace-proven enhancement technology, these new spark plugs offer in some applications

up-to 8% more HP

“the best just got BETTER!”

· INCREASED HP by up-to 8% (avrg. HP gains 5%)
· BETTER Fuel Economy
· IMPROVED Durability
· OEM Approved Designs
· BETTER Cold Starts
· LOWER Emissions
· MORE Complete Combustion

ICESparks™ Premium Iridium spark plugs are based on the NGK® Iridium IX spark plug, a proven, high quality iridium plug installed as original equipment (OE) in the automotive industry since 1994.

With the combination of the naturally superior properties of Iridium and the proprietary spark plug enhancement technology developed by ICE Inc., the ICESparks™ Premium Iridium spark plug is easily one of the world’s finest performance spark plugs.

The Technology

ICE Inc. is a leading manufacturer of computer controlled material enhancement technology.

With the introduction of more modern lean-burning and more fuel efficient engines, new requirements for today’s spark plugs are created. ICE Inc understands this need for a spark plug with lower sparking voltage requirements and utilizing a patented technology, developed the ICESparks™ line of performance spark plugs.

This technology enhances the conductivity and ultimately the performance of spark plugs, allowing the spark to more quickly ignite the mixture, giving a more complete combustion.

A more complete combustion provides more power and also means less harmful emissions, which are very damaging to our environment and can reduce the life of expensive catalytic converters and oxygen sensors. The NGK® based ICESparks™ spark plugs also require a lower ignition firing voltage, resulting in quicker starts and improves cold starts throughout the life of the plugs.

To offer only the best in OEM-designed applications and quality, ICE Inc uses only the best available spark plugs – NGK®

"...REQUIRE a lower ignition firing voltage, resulting in quicker starts and improves cold starts throughout the life of the plugs".

Since the plugs REQUIRE a lower voltage, and since the voltage on the TSX is not adjustable, I would say that they would not be compatible.

I see no connection between a lower firing voltage and quicker starts. I would think that a higher voltage, with a wider gap, would provide quicker starts. But, there are many variables that come into play.
