i just bought the Alpine IVA-D105 DVD Receiver. i was wondering whats the best way/parts to install it to the aux. i want the best sound and quality. thanks in advance.

 

I'm not sure what parts are avail but i'm thinking you need an audio/video connection w/ a 3.5mm end to connect it to aux.

Is your car an 06-07 model? I'm not sure if this is true or not but connecting an aftermarket headunit to an 06 or 07 model would be more suitable because you maintain the HandsFreeLink (bluetooth) system that our cars have. The only question i have is if we were to install a full on 5.1 digital surround navi/entertainment system like a Pioneer AViC n3 to the aux, is it still possible to get 5.1 sound since the aux connection is analog?
