Drop it or new wheels?
If you were to start moding your TSX, would you first lower your suspension or buy new wheels? Let's say you have to do one modification and wait 6 months to do another....

First thing I wanted to do is achieve the Euro Sedan look by getting rid of the huge wheel gap.
Similar to the BMW 3 series wheel gap. Its not a Rice drop but its subtle.
So I invested in the TEIN Basics Coilovers and love it.

Depends on what you want. But wheels always look wrong on a car that isn't lowered a even a little. So, like someone said, drop it like its hawt.

Do whichever you prefer - if that's wheels, then that's fine.
At the end of the day, it makes little or no difference what anyone else thinks - it's what you like that matters.
That said, now comes the practical aspect - if your tyres will last another 6 months, then you could do the suspension safe in the knowledge you've no other expenses (hopefully) to worry about until you buy the new wheels and tyres (if larger or are worn).
If the tyres are nearing replacement, then obviously it makes more sense to change them along with the wheels, then get the suspension done when the funds are back in place again.
What's your tyres current tread depth? If 3mm or less, then it's time to replace - which answer your question for you.

I've also been wanting to "drop it like itz hawt" but just a inch or two like chimchim's euro sedan look. How does this affect the ride for our beloved TSX?
btw, does anyone have a photo of a slight drop rather than a rice drop? Perferably a NBP one

definitely drop it first....i've made the mistake of doing the opposite on my Integra and it looked so goofy that I had to immediately got the springs in a few days later.
