Will our head units divert wattage to other speakers if you unplug 2 speakers? So typically the HU runs 6 speakers and 2 tweeters. If you unplug 2 speakers.. Will it divert that extra wattage equally to all other speakers?

That being said, if you remove two speakers which were wired to the same output of the head unit as other speakers, then depending how they were wired (series vs parallel), you are lowering the resistance and thus the remaining speakers on that channel will have more juice to them - possibly damaging them.
