Does being a CPO negate some depreciation?

Does being a CPO negate some depreciation?
I'm looking at the 2008 base TSX's, and the prices seem a little off to me. The models I am looking at are certified pre-owned, auto tranny, no NAV, and about 10k miles. They are all asking $25k.
assuming that invoice was ~$28k, first year depreciation is ~$7k (per yahoo), and the 2008 is the last year of the body style, I think a fair price would be around $20k. does the fact that they are certified negate some of this devaluation, or do I have a reasonable estimate of how much they should go for?

Oliver!!!
That's not horrible. I got mine CPO right when the 09s came out. It had never been titled, had 3200 miles on it. 08 CGP/Quartz non navi 5AT. After much negociating and walking away and coming back, I got it for 24k before tax (25.4k after tax, tag, etc.) Original sticker on an 08 non navi was 29,800. Dealer invoice was of course less.

Remember this is an Acura, and not a Kia our cars don't depreciate that much even in 2 years or 5 years. You might be able to find an '08 with more than 20k+ miles for 20k but anything 10k miles and under i doubt you will be able to find one for 20k or less.

Exactly, Acuras don't really depreciate. When I was in the buying process, I remember seeing TSXs with 25K miles and 60K miles that were not even $2000 apart.
