It may have to do with synthetic oil, K&N filter and auto transmission. I drove on a country road and got 38 MPG...... I was like WHOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAA

Yeah all these 30+ MPG people make me think you just drive like grannies all of the time. My car sees vigorous redline action pretty much daily and as a result my gas light comes on around 300-310 miles or so. I hate driving 65 so I just accept I have to put more gas in my car and get on with it.
For experiment's sake I cruised to/from Boston at 70mph or so in September and got around 400 miles out of the tank, which satisfied my curiosty to the car's fuel efficiency just fine.

I owned 00 Civic EX before and that thing smelled like smokey when I pushed it with premium gas. Prolly valves. Anyways, it ran better when I filled it up with regular gas. TSX is different.
