Disabling the Alarm System?

I have a 2006 TSX and I'm considering taking Amtrak's Auto-Train down to Florida some time in March. In looking over their website re: requirements for the car, it requires that any built-in auto alarm systems be shut off before loading the car onto the train. I assume that it's because they don't want the motion of the train to set the alarm off.

How do I temporarily disable the built-in alarm system in my 06 TSX?

Thanks!

i dont think the factory tsx alarm has motion sensors, it can just tell if you open a door.

Where did you find out about Amtrak's auto train? It sounds like something I could use.

Um.... unhook the battery. Just write down your radio settings and reset your memory seats.

Contact your dealer or Acura directly. Disconnecting the battery imobilizes the vehicle completely making moving it a problem. You don't want some caveman RR engineer monkeying around under your hood to get it started. There might be a fuse you can pull instead.
