Ding when drivers door opens

On occasion I will have periodic beeping when I open my drivers door after unlocking with the fob. Does anyone know if this is indicating something that I should be aware of?

I bought my '04 6mt TSX about a month ago. Goodbye '94 Legend!

does it mean anything? and does why doesn't it do it all the time?

It's beeping because the lights are flashing. Anytime the lights are on while the driver door is open, the car beeps, which is a feature designed to prevent you from forgetting to turn your lights off.
